Bio:
LyNkZ, aka Kevin Stanley, became a junglist in late ’98. Inspired by seeing some of his favorite UK DnB headliners; Total Science, Marcus Intalex, Future Cut, Konflict, Usual Suspects, Zinc, DJ Lee, Ed Rush + Optical w/ MC Ryme Tyme, Bad Company, Cause 4 Concern, Loxy, Ink w/ MC AD, J Majik, Red One, Moving Fusion, Sinthetix (now Corrupt Souls), Stakka & Skynet, Evol Intent, Dom & Roland, Friction, LTJ Bukem w/ MC Conrad, Makoto, Goldie, Calibre, and Bailey LIVE, LyNkZ knows what jungle music is all about. After spinning for a few years, he began playing out in Eastern North Carolina. First, starting out playing house parties, then progressing to local clubs (The Dive, Punky’s, The Cellar, Peasants, etc.). LyNkZ has always lived in Eastern NC, so becoming webmaster of encdnb.com worked out rather well for him. He began recording demos with DJ Mattius in 2005 on their own label, Dark ‘N’ Dank Recordings. Soon after, LyNkZ & Mattius created subsidiary label, Splif In Da Sky Recordings, in 2006, dedicated to liquid drum & bass. LyNkZ enjoys & plays all flavors of dnb from liquid to nuerofunk to darkstep. Currently, LyNkZ is a resident dj at encdnb.com’s DND Monthlys, and is now accepting bookings for 2009.

Bass Check - This album features a tag set from LyNkZ & Mattius that was supposed to be played during October's NALIJ Monthly. It is different than previous albums from the duo. It has a hip hop dnb / liquid funk vibe that stays fresh from start to finish! Released December 2007.
